Stowers
Ranch Hunting

|
WHITETAIL
DEER - During the first seven weeks of the whitetail
hunting season, Stowers Ranch offers whitetail buck hunting.
All hunting is guided and is done from blinds. Hunters
pay a daily guide fee and a success fee for each buck killed
or wounded. This year's fees are shown in the price
list.
EXOTIC GAME - Exotics may be hunted throughout
the year. The optimum time to hunt an antlered species is governed by that species' antler development. Horned animals, such
as sheep and antelope, do not shed their horns and are good
trophies at all times of year, although the condition of
their coats will vary with the season.

During
November and December exotic hunting is done only from blinds.
At other times of year exotic hunting may also be done by driving and stalking.
Hunters pay a daily guide fee and a success fee for each animal killed or wounded. This year's fees are
shown in the price list.
DOE
HUNTING - Stowers Ranch occasionally conducts doe
hunting during the eighth week of the hunting season. Prices
have not yet been established for this year.
TURKEYS
- Turkeys are hunted during both the fall and spring seasons.
This year's fees are shown in the price
list.

WHAT
TO BRING - We recommend rifles that shoot .270 or .30-06

Hunters
will be charged the full applicable fee for wounded animals.
GUIDE
FEE - Buck hunters pay a guide fee of $150 per day, which
may be shared by two hunters. The guide fee for doe hunters is
included in the price of the hunt.
While
production of high-quality whitetail deer and exotics is a major
commitment of the ranch, of equal importance is the intent to provide
hunters a first-class, safe, and memorable hunting experience.
Our guides are capable outdoorsmen and the kind of people whom
you will enjoy. Your guide will take you to a designated
hunting area; help you find wounded animals; and field
dress and skin any animal that you shoot.
If
a buck hunter had the opportunity to shoot a mature deer having eight or more points and did not shoot one he will be charged $1,000 in addition to the expenses he has incurred at the ranch for guides, lodging and meals. In the case of the Package Hunt these expenses would amount to $600.
All
game laws are strictly adhered to, and appropriate hunting licenses
must be presented before hunting. The ranch enforces a sensible
safety program.
