Rooms

Guests at Stowers Ranch may stay at the Ranch Camp, a picturesque cluster of rustic cedar cabins and a recently completed lodge.

Five cabins can accommodate as many as 15 people in queen and twin beds. All rooms are equipped with heating and air-conditioning units.

One cabin has recently been remodeled to meet ADA standards.

Kitchen-dining area

A spacious kitchen-dining area has proven a congenial gathering place for up to 20 people. A refrigerator, stove, microwave, electric coffee maker, and dishwasher is available for guest use or for catered meals. A gas fired grill, fire pit and picnic table are immediately outside this area.

If you choose to have catered meals you must make appropriate arrangements when you make a reservation.

Meals at the Ranch are typically southern ranch-style cooking, and any food allergies or special dietary needs can be addressed at the time your stay is booked.

Lodge

The vaulted ceilinged lodge was constructed in 2009 and paneled with cypress boards milled from components of the Ranch`s old water storage tanks.  A stone fireplace provides warmth and cheer in winter months.

Guests are welcome to use the large flat-screen television and DVD player, telephone, and Wi-Fi network located in the Lodge.  Games, books, and DVDs can also be found there.

Enjoy sitting on the cabin porches or relaxing in the hammock.  Watch the humming birds in summer and seed feeding birds year round.  Deer and turkeys are attracted to the feeder on a nearby hill.

The fire pit offers a friendly gathering place when the days grow cold, and toasting marshmallows rekindles fond memories or creates new ones.  Stargazing in the Texas night sky is incomparable.

Lodging rates (for non-hunting guests)

$100 per night per cabin.

There is no charge for children 12 years of age and younger staying with their parents.  Lodging rates are subject to the Texas Hotel Occupancy Tax of 6%. If meals are provided, they are subject to the Texas Sales Tax of 6.75%.

Advance reservations are required, along with a valid credit card.  Reservations must be cancelled one week before scheduled arrival. No shows will be charged 100% of the cost of the rooms reserved.
